The Gun Basketball Shooting Machine by Shoot-a-Way Model 6000

The video was taken 10-22-2019. The same day the new motor (that turns the unit) has been replaced. In video the First pass shows machine at the max distance / angle setting. The 2nd pass on video the machine is set to the minimum distance / angle setting. Video shows it working in auto movement mode, single position mode, and "around the world" mode moving a little bit after each pass. While searching for a used working condition gun for my sons personal home use I realized what a market there is for these machines. Lots of people looking and they dont seem to last very long on any sites that sell them. I was able to find a machine and re-build it in April of this year. If you are interested in this training machine I highly suggest the app HomeCourt (which is what filmed the video below). Combined with the app It does everything the newer model shoot-a-ways do. The app and the machine makes for an incredible training tool. The only thing I had to replace was the Motor to turn the unit. The ONLY thing that is NOT working on this machine is the manual counter on the front. Since the HomeCourt app does so much more than count the shots I didnt think it was worth fixing. I have sanded / greased all of the moving parts.
